Kura Revolving Sushi

The catch here is the rabbit hole of small plate dining. Please be conscious of your take and be aware of the cost per plate. It was $3.50 at the time of my visit (March 2023). The count piles up and you suddenly realize your plate count is in the 30s! Food overall was fresh and good tasting. Psychologists suggest getting a bunch of plates before you start eating. That way, the rabbit hole effect is prevented. Or order entrees. Those are moderately priced and are also good tasting. Service wasn’t so good. We had to take chopsticks ourselves from the counter when I realized it was supposed to be placed at the table as we sat. Drink refills are hard to come by. You’ll regret getting one. Just get water.

This is a really small Kura. When we arrived at around 145 we were #4 in line but waited almost an hour for a table…super slow turnover! Once we were there the food was good as expected. The kids toy release didn’t work but it hasn’t worked at the last 3 Kura restaurants we’ve been to so it seems like that is the norm now. Fun new thing was the robot who delivered our drinks. All in all a fun place with decent sushi. Just expect a wait during peak times.
