Kypros Griechische Speisegaststätte

In the cooler months when there is no outdoor seating, the little restaurant can probably only seat around 30 40 people so make reservations if you want to dine here. There are lots of local and regulars from what we can see and as we were here on business and wanted a change from German food, we wanted to try Kypros. Walking in around 7:30, we got the last table for 2 as the lovely waiter (speaks fluent English btw) had to turn away other walk in guests just moments after us. They had an English menu and the cuisine is authentic Greek. However, true to German style, it is on the salty side. The calamari is delicious! The mixed grill was ok and the salad is fresh. A small family run Greek restaurant in the walking area of Bensheim serving very nice Greek food. It is quite small and so tables are very close to each other. The food is freshly prepared and the service staff are friendly and polite and English speaking. it is popular and so booking is recommended. The prices are high though, but being very popular suggests that they are acceptable.

My wife and I came here with our adopted German family who live in Bensheim. Coming from Australia the second largest Greek community we thought we would try Kypros. Great food which could be compared to any Greek restaurant in Melbourne. Very family orientated and it shows in the food. (Lot of love). Will come back.

Came here on a first time in benshiem. I had the gyros with salad and tzakziki. Lovely big meal mega salad , chopped carrots onion etc with a creamy tzakziki sause with meat off the joint. Very good and tasty with a local German beer . Well recommended £20 bill Reserva una mesa ahora

We were passing through and looking for a good place to eat lunch. The restaurant is small but clean. Excellent service and great food. Portions were generous. We loved it all. Would remember to stop back in on a future trip. Would highly recommend it.

We went there with a friend for dinner. I got the steak and it was excellent. Soft and perfect with pepper sauce. Service was perfect as well. Recommended

Because of the COVID restrictions, the menu is very limited. There are several tables outside, on the pedestrian street.

Good and surprise dinner!! Very really good food! Good taste and big quantity (a lot in my opinion! we will came back!!
