We like the restaurant as they create a stylish yet friendly ambience accompanied by good food. Staff are well trained , polite, cheerful, helpful and efficient. Having a small kitchen there is a limited choice for the main course but there are sufficient to satisfy most palates . Lovely amuse bouche pre dinner. Starters : tiger prawns in basket , seafood assiette , both excellent. Mains : lamb shank , duck. Lamb shank is a dish you rarely do at home and not many restaurants have it so really enjoyable. We dined here for Sunday lunch last week and it was just phenomenal!! Couldn’t disagree more with the review below. Myself and my partner both agreed that it was one of the best Sunday lunches we have ever had! Everything was amazing, delicious gravy, perfectly cooked vegetables and the best crispy roast potatoes. We both then had just enough room to squeeze in a sticky toffee pudding and it was divine. We received such a warm welcome and fabulous service so it really was the perfect afternoon. Thank you so much to all involved- we can’t wait to come back.
The venue was attractive, Service was professional. We had a very pleasant french sauvignon blanc. The starter, unfortunately, consisted of overcooked, rubbery prawns in a (mostly soggy filo pastry basket. The main course was nicely cooked chicken, spoilt by an overseasoned (salty sauce, accompanied by good-quality dauphinoise potato (could have done with more! , undercooked french beans and a vegetable that should never appear on a dinner plate-celery. All- in- all, a real mixture.
It's an imposing Victorian building a short walk from the town centre and although it looks a little formal, don't be put off as the welcome, service and food at L'Amuses Bouche are all excellent. We enjoyed a full three courses and although there isn't a huge choice, we tried a variety of the dishes and they were universally great. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere informal and we would certainly visit again. Highly recommended and a lovely place for a meal.

As it had been closed during lockdown was slightly worried if they might recoup by cutting corners. Very glad to say they haven't.Mine hostess welcoming as always ,solved problem of social distancing tables by using bar area as well as main restaurant. Waitresses wore masks.Terrine to start , beef and fish main courses , ice cream to finish . Home made bread excellent amuse bouche . Allround excellent meal.
This was an outstandingly good meal (food and wine) and a most enjoyable, relaxing experience. The staff were friendly and skilled. The main dining-room is very attractive with a small cascade amongst rocks a few outside one of the windows. The noise-level was low (no music) and allowed a stress-free and joyful reunion dinner for the four of us.
After reading glowing reviews, we can confirm that this charming restaurant lives up to its reputation. The food and service are impeccable, the atmosphere is elegant, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality. My friends and I were thoroughly impressed and are already planning our next visit.
I came back to this restaurant on Sunday after not going for a while, and I still think it's the best in Malvern. The food quality and service are amazing, and considering the quality, the price is excellent value for money. It's a real hidden gem.
