I’ve been coming here for a while. Usually the service is good. I came here and took food to go. I live in Rocklin. I drove home to find they messed up our entire order. A whole plate was missing and the plate we got wasn’t correct at all. We called and asked for a refund. They told us we had to come back for a refund. So I drove from Rocklin back to get my refund spending my own gas money. I hoped they’d refund the whole thing because of the whole ordeal they put me through (I have a disability so driving is a lot of work). We've been driving the 25min drive to come here for about 8 years now and completely happy with the place. The past 3 times we've come the food has been so bad we don't even finish it. Mind you we spend about 50$ every time we come. We sadly will not be back. Of course Mac salad wasn't bad but the meats are horrible. No flavoring. We got Lau Lau the meat was so dry and no seasoning at all. Even BBQ mix plate wasn't up to par. My husband is Hawaiian and we came back hoping and praying it will be better than last but nope not worth it anymore. Please let us know when u get new cooks. Mahalo. Love the food but everytime we ordered delivery, the mess up our order or the food is burnt or they forget the sauce. You gotta have the sauce! Right?! Also I always leave a cash to by the door and they never take it. It even says tip for food deliveryperson but they always leave it. Strange. Today is it was a $20 tip but they didn 't take it.
I enjoy L&L, but I've never visited this particular location due to its terrible reviews. I find it amusing to check the most recent reviews every few months for some entertainment, reading about the poor food quality and awful service. It seems that the ownership changed in 2021 or 2022, and the restaurant has declined since then.

I was genuinely surprised in the best way! After being away from the island for a while, my family and I really missed the food. We had been searching for a place that reminded us of home, and we finally found it! My two favorite dishes were spot on! I’ll definitely be coming back frequently. Thank you, everyone! Food: 5/5
Love Hawaiian BBQ but this place is a little bit of a mess. There are just a bunch of boxes everywhere and no place to sit. The food is good but a lot of the time the servers don't put sauces with the plates. They don't seem to care too much. The food is good but it has been under seasoned a couple of times.
Take your business somewhere else to a different restaurant or a different owner. Supporting this business is supporting her bad attitude and poor customer service. You work hard for your money and deserve to be treated better.
Older lady with the long hair was very unprofessional rude. Looking on her phone instead of checking on an order yelling at dashers coming in to pickup orders for customers.

Covid restrictions are still in place at this location. Chairs and tables collecting dust stacked in the corner with no dining in options.Food: 5/5
