I heard about this place which is a couple of minutes walk away from Ormskirk center. It didnt look too appealing from outside but I was so surprisde when I got inside. John the owner was just lovely and so knowledgable of wine while the chef took her time to come and speak to us about our tapas and pinchos. The portions are quite generous and most important, homemade. We like it so much that we booked for the following Sunday. We were a large group of friends but my wife is a vegetarian and my sister in law has a gluteen free alergy. I went here for a meal with my extended family, and had a wonderful time. We were made to feel very welcome, and given good recommendations for wine choices, and the chef went through the dishes with us. We had told them in advance and it was no problem at all for them to cater for a vegetarian within the group. The food was delicious, obviously home made, and very reasonably priced, and the atmosphere was great. I really recommend this restaurant and can't wait to go back!

I was recommended La Cantina by a friend who knows I love Spanish cuisine. The food was delicious and authentic, and the Spanish chef was accommodating and passionate about the dishes. The atmosphere was relaxed and the owner suggested a great bottle of wine. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing evening. I will definitely be returning soon.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted by the friendly staff and found the atmosphere to be comfortable. I enjoyed chatting with some locals who were very welcoming. This restaurant has since become a favorite for my family, as they warmly welcome children and pets. Reserva una mesa ahora

I stopped by for a sandwich and coffee during lunchtime. It was excellent. The restaurant was a bit cramped, but the friendly waitress served a delicious steak sandwich and great coffee. I highly recommend it.

The food was absolutely outstanding, and the cozy atmosphere of this small restaurant was delightful. The portion sizes were generous for the price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
