We went here as it is rated the best restaurant in Sassnitz.The German-Italian we were invited to order our meal lead to some confusion as the salad to complement the main course was served as a starter and the two fish soups ordered specifically twice was reduced to one.That was sorted with only a ten minute gap between one of us eating our soup and the other being served the soup to eat.Risotto special of the day with asparagus was good. The penne with seafood was poor. Served pleasantly in a brown paper bag tied with string inside the penne was towards over cooked and the sauce seemed tired 50% of the few mussels in the seafood remained closed. The only other seafood obvious was one baby...
Bella Vita is a very tasty place to go. It is located off the main street in Sassnitz and it appears to be a home converted into a small Italian restaurant. Between us we ordered Black Tortillini, Seafood pasta and Orecchiette with meatballs. All of the choices were good, especially when combined with the wines they had available. Finally we finished dinner with some chocolate moose-like pie for desert. All of the food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly, above the normal European standards. This restaurant is once again a winner if you're looking for a place to eat in this area.
This evening my son made the restaurant choice, and La Bella Vita was a very, very good choice! We were three persons, and every one was more than satisfied. The grown up ordered Spagetti Mare, and both of usikker found it delicious and tasty with lots of seafood. The youngest one went for Spagetti Bolognese - and he was very happy with this traditionalle course. We all finished with with a Panna Costa with cheerry - very tasty! The staff was polite and proffesional. It took a while between ordering and serving, but it was worth waiting for the food!
First things first: in Berlin this would be a decent restaurant. On Rügen it's a great place. They have very good Italian pasta and it's cheaper than the traditional German alternatives. We stayed on the island for two nights and this was the best food we had there.In my opinion the decoration is not that great, but still, the good food and lovely service definitely makes up for that. Locals also ate there, which for me is always a good sign.

Went there during a Business trip on my own. Waiters are very nice. Had piadine as an appetizer and homemade ravioli as main course. The espresso at the end was very tasty. Just can recommend that place. Food has been very nice :) everything's fine !
I visited this lovely place for the second time on April 2. It was as good as last time with friendly waiters who really take care of you. A minor misunderstanding about a desert didn't really matter. The food was deliciois. I'll come back!
Second time we are here, because it is a nice small restaurant, where the food is delicious and the atmosphere cozy. The menu card now written in english ???? Try the drinks, they tast delicious by a bartender champion ????
Great food, great service and a very nice atmosphere...! We had salad and tomato soup as entrèe, followed by pasta with salmon and lasagne :-) delicious!!!
