RUN AWAY ! This Wednesday, December 27, after a magnificent 18 holes, we decided to eat around 1 p.m. at “la Bergerie” to enjoy a little more of this splendid setting. A limited menu and a blanquette of veal as the dish of the day convinced us. A quick glance at the “restaurant” website confirms REAL work in the kitchen: “Our menu is established according to the season and local products. We only work with fresh, quality products, most frequently from our region and surrounding areas. A great welcome, excellent cuisine (the chef was alone in the kitchen), very professional staff who care about their customers, all in a very friendly setting surrounded by the Alpilles. I had heard so many good things about this restaurant that I happily went there! I must admit that I was disappointed. I ordered a Caesar salad which was not very good! The chicken was not breaded at all and the salad was too seasoned! The setting is of course magnificent!
