During a recent visit to New Jersey to celebrate a birthday with family, I stumbled upon this bakery through a random Google search. Be sure to check their website for weekend cake specials! I tried their mango mousse cake, and it was absolutely delicious. Thank goodness I live 100 miles away; otherwise, I would definitely be a regular customer for those weekend specials. The staff was incredibly friendly as well!
I ordered a cake for a bachelorette party from this place, and it was absolutely delicious. The ordering process was hassle-free, and they were very responsive through both email and phone. Their website offered a wide range of options to choose from. The cake was beautifully decorated and had a fantastic taste. I will definitely be ordering from here again for future celebrations!
We chose La Bon for our wedding cake, and it turned out to be stunning and delicious! We opted for the vanilla cake filled with chocolate custard and topped with vanilla buttercream. Working with Breanna was a delight; she was consistently responsive, proactive, and eager to assist us. We also enjoyed the at-home cake tasting, which added to the fun!

For an American bakery, I would give it about 4.5 stars. We sampled the vanilla custard cake, which was delightful and quite sweet—maybe a touch too sweet for our taste. Both the cannoli and cookies were excellent as well. The Hungarian baked squares and various other square treats also caught our eye and looked tempting.
Without a doubt, this is the best bakery in Central Jersey! Their cakes are not only stunningly decorated, but they also taste incredible! We particularly enjoy their icing—it’s not overly sweet and holds up well in warm weather! Thank you once again, La Bon Bake Shops, for making our son’s birthday party a great success!
The desserts at this restaurant are fantastic, and the service is excellent. Their cupcakes are the best, available in a variety of flavors. The cookies are also delightful, and the cakes are exactly as you see in the pictures—big and impressive!
