La Boucherie French

incredibly poor service. we had a group booking, and on the restaurant request we had all preordered. we arrived to find our table “was not quite ready” and sat slightly late. a round beverage was ordered and delivered. 40 minutes later, those who had ordered a duck were served. the mains arrived an hour and a half after sitting on and in this time we had not asked as much as a glass water up above, let alone more drinks. the brot that was part of the plate I had pre-ordered was never put on the table and at that point I just wanted the meal to be done so that I could get out. while eating was good, the experience left so that we could not enjoy our evening. the “Ass on the cake” was overloaded and the bill corrected. I'd recommend going somewhere else. there are many restaurants that prepare food well, but for the prices they pay in la boucherie, a level of service was expected better than a caffe.

I am not much of a knower when it comes to the fine kitchen, so if the missus has booked a restaurant like la boucherie, I was not really sure what to expect. Last night was the best scotchfilet of my life and some nice cold imported beer. my friend is the foodman and got what she claims "the best scallops of her life" and fresh ice-cold oysters with surprisingly cheap French wine. service was top notch and eat fantastic 10/10 for the hills.

My wife and I have dined at some of Sydney's top restaurants, Tetsuyas, Quay amongst others and we both agree that the food at Le Boucherie was the best we've had. Oustanding food, exceptional service and an atmosphere that took us both back to our travels through France. Highly recommend you come and experience what we did.

Yummy French foods, staffs are friendly, only disadvantage is no sound prove, a bit noisy esp when full house . Still an idea place for dine in
