La Cabane du Mirabeau

A delightful venue and faultless service made for a very pleasant experience on a lovely summer evening. We were seated well distanced and with a beautiful view of Le Mimbeau beach in the Arcachon basin. The oysters and shellfish were tasty and well prepared, and accompanied by a delicious cold bottle of Pessac Leognan. We shall definitely return to this cabane on our next trip to Cap Ferret.

We were taken here for lunch during a private tour of the Cap Ferret and Archachon Bay area. The proprietors were very welcoming and even gave us a few post cards as a memento of our visit. The oysters were very fresh and we got lots of wine, bread, and pork rillette to go with it. It was so beautiful watching the tide come in on the patio, with the Dune du Pilat in the distance.

Great oysters and view and if you go to their smaller cabane at the end of the road you might even see some celebrities (French actors and musicians) or be treated to a concert by a famous French musician!

They have a really great view deck, it's so romantic to sit there and enjoy the wine and oyster. We ordered n2 plate, but they said only 3left and give us more n3. It's fine but I like n2 more.

Marvellous! Oysters superb and views wonderful. It can get busy and sometimes the wait is longer but we’ll worth it.
