Upon entrance we asked about the availability for a table for 4, to which the waiter then stated “but there is 2 of you”. After explaining that our friends were parking the car and would be here in 2 minutes, the waiter then scoffed and pointed to his colleague, who whilst I was attempting to sit down pushed passed me and threw 2 menus on the table. Ordering was ridiculous as the waiter appeared after 2 minutes with the question “are you ordering or no?” One of my friends has an allergy towards olives, but was told that no exceptions or changes can be made to orders. When my friend asked why this was, the waiter threw his hands in the air, muttered something under his breath and stormed off....
We found this wonderful little restaurant La Plagne and had a lovely meal . We were served by a charming waitress called Sandra , who went out of her way to ensure our visit was as nice as possible . The place is split into two parts . The bar area is open and spacious and was showing the golf when we were there but don’t confuse this with a sports bar . We relaxed in here with pre dinner drinks and was then shown into the restaurant proper which had a lovely Alpine feel . Our table was in front of a wonderful open fire which added to the ambience.
