we enjoyed a nice lunch on the terrace of this restaurant on the beautiful island Île-de-Batz. the terrace has a view of the harbour, but offers protection in front of the wind. the local speciality is bat’z dide, a many baked kartoffel with various fillings. my friend and I both went for a galette (a savory pancake.) I was surprised how fast our meal arrived, we had to wait only about ten minutes. the pancake was so thin that you could literally see it through. To be honest, I like my pancakes a little thicker, but I understand that these thin pancakes are something to strive as a cook. my only complain: there was only one (unisex) toilet, which means: long waiting lines.

Four of us had lunch here on the terrace with a view of the harbour on a bright sunny autumn day. The galettes were among the best we have eaten being very thin light and crisp with a choice of standard and more imaginative toppings....I had a Boudinière with black pudding, leeks and fried apple; a friend had a galette with fat juicy scallops. For dessert crepes and sweet galettes are available in variety as well as a number of other choices. The restaurant terrace was buzzing with a lively ambience. The staff were clearly very busy but remained friendly and courteous throughout. Well worth visiting for excellent galettes.

visit roscoff for a few days so had this trip planned on the island. did a little research, so the good reviews did not see disappointed. we both had galettes. but make sure to ask for the daily table how I would love. have not baked in the main menu. another thing to mention paintings for sale inside. please stop them here when they visit ille de batz

I called here for lunch directly from the wild by roscoff. sat outside with views of the harbour. we had galettes for a main course and our daughter had a chocolate cream for dessert, the reasonable price. beautiful view of the harbour. pleasant service.

and makes it pretty good. a very small sun gear from a terrace with views of the harbour, it makes crèpes quite good and a few salads or huge jackenkartoffels. hearty recommended if you want one of these three items with warm and attentive service.
