I've been looking for an authentic Mexican food place and this place definitely hit the spot! When you walk in, your eyes will immediately go to the bright colors on the wall between the textiles and the art pieces. The menu is small but there's definitely something for everyone. We got the vegetarian torts with the potatoes and veggies the bread was fresh and served as the perfect platform for all the toppings. We were also here on taco Tuesday so the tacos were only $2 each!! Also loved the ensalada de nopales one of the most unique and tasty ways of eating cactus! I do also love that they brought out chips and 4 hot sauces so anyone with any spice tolerances could enjoy the chips.
I've been wanting to try La Catrina for a while since it's just a short walk from my place. When my friend and I visited for dinner around 6:30 pm, the restaurant had several open tables and was charmingly decorated. We were greeted with complimentary chips and a variety of salsas and sauces to enjoy with them. My friend ordered tacos, while I opted for the al pastor chimichanga. I have to admit that the presentation of the chimichanga wasn’t the most appealing, but it was packed with flavor and generously filled. I’d definitely be interested in returning to sample more items from the menu!
This place is good. its amazing for cheap and filling food that doesn't taste bland. in the past I've ordered the burrito and it was alright, however the second time I went here I ordered some nachos with vegan chorizo, and it hit the spot. I also ordered the horchata from here, and that was also pretty good, towards the milkier side. the only issues with this place is the time it opens 4:00 is pretty late
I've always ordered from here bc I live right around the corner. This place is the best for a quick Mexican bite. They always please my cravings for tacos and are always on top of everything! I would recommend friends to try this place out. A few of my favorites are the Al pastor tacos and burrito.

Our favorite dish is the chipotle chicken chimichanga! The portion is really generous. The churros have been delicious as well, just like the fried plantains. We often order the enchilada, and the verde enchilada and chalupa are amazing too.
Carne Asada Platillo The meal was overall delicious The chip was a bit hard, wish it was more crunchy and soft. The server provided different kinds of salsa and sauce for the chip. It was nice.
I would say this place is ok. I wasn't wowed by any of the dishes I ordered. The place is cute as far as decor and they offer a really good horchata.
I had their tacos and they taste so amazing! Very authentic food reminds me of Los Tacos No.1 in NYC! I would definitely come back and order!

Super underrated spot, the go to spot for authentic Mexican food. Fair prices for everything they give you, I'll be back.
