We went here for a dinner during our honeymoon in Nice. We could not have had a better time. The food was amazing. We had the foie gras appetizer served with a small salad and pickled red onions. It was perfectly smooth, buttery, and rich and absolutely to die for. For mains we got the 16month Comte fondue and tagliatelle. Both were amazing. The Comte had a deep rich flavor and the tagliatelle was bursting with fresh sage. We were given the recommendation of a Chardonnay that paired perfectly with our dishes. Hidden away down the winding streets of Nice is La Cave Fromager (la bistro fromager). From the facade you could easily walk by thinking it is a small deli. But inside and down the steps you enter a cheese lovers paradise! Set underground in a stone cellar the temperature is cool, a relief from the warm streets above. The menu is changed daily and has a range of perfect starters, mains and desserts. The Charcuterie board was a perfect starter, served with delicious fresh bread. For main you must try the cheese fondu it is heavenly. The pig cheek was full of flavour and the meat was very tender. If you love cheese you must visit!!! We chose this place because we wanted to have fondue and the place was highly appraised. The interior itself is beautiful, built in former catacombs and turned into a lovely cellar surrounded with wine bottles. The fondue was delicious and because we are not used to having just bread with it (we think it's boring), we also ordered plate of super good french dry and thin ham. The wines were also good. The staff is very professional and friendly. I would add to the menu more options to eat the fondue with than just the bread. I'm used to eating fondue and raclette with potatoes, ham, vegetables, bread etc. There could be list of things from which people could choose few. They would have prepar...

Came here in the suggestion of our tour book. It was fanTAStic!!! The vibe is super cool and cozy. We got seated in a little corner with two girls from Australia and had the nicest time. The cheeses were simply on point. We had the best foie gras I have ever had. EVER. The fondue cheese was enormous, and came with a whole pot of bread. Cheese enthusiasts are L’Adresse with a Great A place where you have to taste the best products!!! The menu is according to the seasons, the products are absolutely divine, the cheeses are perfectly cooked and their tastes appreciated by different aromas. The staff is adorable, helpful and knows their products on the fingertips. If you like cheese, you can't miss this address!

A hot and atypical place, a high reception and a delicious raclette. However, for the price, there could be more potatoes. We had a few mini potatoes, it would have taken double for the size of the cheese/charcuterie tray. It's too bad. And cash payment only so you have to go withdraw before coming.. Otherwise everything was perfect.

We've fallen on it by chance, we've had a great night. a card that changes every day, dishes that make it salty, great cheese and good wine to water it all. not to mention a service and a very pleasant owner. What more?
