La Charrette Bleue

This was, by far, the prettiest meal I've eaten in months. Fresh flowers, fresh herbs and the striking colors of the food, make for a picture perfect meal. We ate outside on the covered patio beautiful, with the olive trees outside and a perfect outside temperature. All the tables are set with festive, colorful glasses and dining ware. We were immediately greeted by the hostess who seated us and explained the extensive menu. There are multiple menu options at differing price points and choices. My wife started with a fresh chilled pea velouté. I had the perfect egg on cream green peas. Simply beautiful and very tasty. Exceptional restaurant in the region, the setting is magnificent, peaceful, surrounded by nature, close to the mountains and lavender fields. Everything was very good from starter to dessert with a big favorite for the perfect egg with pea cream and fresh herbs, a real treat. The team is superb and the welcome warm, we had a very good evening and we will come back.

Excellent food, I enjoyed the confit salmon and the veal rice, the portions are balanced and well crafted. Very nice presentation of the dishes. We had a pleasant time in the pretty setting of this restaurant surrounded by mountains. We will come back with pleasure.
