I recently attended a birthday party brunch at this establishment, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment from the start. The reservation was from 3 PM to 5 PM. At the door, they could not find our reservation. But, the front door was courteous and worked on the issue, and security was polite. To add to the frustration, we were told that sangrias, mimosas, and Bellinis would cost an extra $2, even though this wasn 't mentioned on the menu or communicated during the reservation. If you're looking for a LIT latin brunch spot, La Chiflada is that place! I came here with a group of girls on a Saturday for brunch and the place was PACKED! The rules are that you have 1.5 hours for bottomless mimosas with a choice of entree. If you want to stay longer, you have to pay for a bottle. I elected to go for the mangu, as did the other girls. The mangu was good, I just wish there was more of it. The portion sizing was alright, just don't come hungry; you may have to stop for a snack afterwards. Don’t get me wrong, this place is a good time, but they have ridiculous rules to try to get more money out of people (like they don’t get enough). They are very greedy. They have a rule with chairs. After 11 they only allow 1 chair per table. We pay over $450 to be at a table and have to stand the whole time. I do not know how this place has so many good reviews. I believe they’re fake reviews because there is noooo way. The amount of long faces on other people was crazy as well so I knew we were not the only ones. We made a reservation 1 Month ago, when we get there they seated us in the basement when we know damn well we didn't ask for that and obviously wanted to be seated in the main floor. The security staff was quite rude and spoiled our experience. After we had been there for two hours, the waitress asked us to move to the bar, which was acceptable. However, the security kept circling the bar, giving each member of our group different reasons for why we should leave. When I approached him, he said he was "being generous by allowing us to stay after two hours." It was absurd, and we felt unwelcome, so we decided to leave shortly after. The atmosphere was ruined because he continued to stare at us. I won’t be returning; it's better to spend your money elsewhere.
Just had my daughter’s 30th birthday brunch here on Saturday and we had an amazing time!! The food was great, the mimosas and sangria were great and our glass was never empty, the music was awesome, and the ambiance was a amazing!!!! By far best brunch spot I’ve attended in NJ!! I recently attended my friend Angie’s birthday brunch and had an amazing experience. This hidden neighborhood gem has mastered the perfect blend of a lively atmosphere, excellent service, and delicious, flavorful dishes. The music enhances the overall vibe. Angie had a fantastic birthday, and even when her friend Mike accidentally dropped her birthday cake, it ended up being a hilarious moment.
the experience was amazing. Maria Delgado was our waitress and she was Excellent, top notch. So attentive, came to check on us all the time, our drinks always full, and she was so nice and pleasant. The service was great and vibe was even better! Ask for Maria Delgado, you will not be disappointed.

I went for brunch at 3:30 PM on a Sunday, and it was such a fun experience! Definitely worth it! There were so many people celebrating birthdays, and they offered bottomless mimosas alongside a fantastic DJ. Overall, I had a great time!
