La Croix de Savoie

Being in the neighborhood, trying to book a room from the car incurred for endless questions. The man at the other end eventually told ok, we can finish that when you are here . When we were there, indeed it could be finished and took 45 minutes ! The receptionist also appeared to be the waiter and he hopped around with his 1 year old on his arm. Maybe nice for some, but not really professional for a restaurant with menus of 70 euros and beyond. Swapping a dish of the menu for an other dish of the exact same price appeared impossible, and the owner himself interfering with everything just did not approve our wish. We ended up leaving the restaurant without any dinner. The ambiance is strange...

Supposed fine dining restaurant with pretensions of grandeur. Prices are very high but the quality isn’t there. Meal had stale elements and weird touches. Just unpleasant. Service was laborious, the owner was serving whilst carrying a baby, certainly strange but wouldn’t matter if the food had been good. It wasn’t the bill was eye watering. Buyer beware

The restaurant was looking really nice, we were welcomed warmly as we entered (me with my family). Food was excellent, especially the desserts. Only downside for us was that the waitresses who brought the food to table and explained what we got, did that in French. And we don't speak French. Luckily on waiter did speak English.

we ordered a medium cooked steak which arrived hard and overcooked, surrounded by fat; and pasta which was distinctly undercooked

Well received by the manager, varied menu with choice and a lot of quality, always served with a smile
