We were immediately handed over to a charming lady, who we took to be the proprietor. She assured us that she would confer with the chef. We ordered a “coquelet roti” with a cream and grape sauce and a fillet steak served without sauces. Chips were covered in gluten but the chef proposed a salad for the steak and the “coquelet” came with a Gratin Dauphinoise. All the food was delicious. We went there for dinner and spent 2h30 there without taking dessert. The service was friendly but long. My parents had an entrée and we didn't but when we got our main, my partners duck was way too overcooked, he asked for rare and the piece he got was grey and dry (not what you expect when you pay 25euros, the same price as the menu). The honey sauce was burnt and stuck on the plate. My gambas pasta dish was very tasty though (even if the sauce was split) and my parents thought their dishes were fine but not exceptional. We came here on a rainy evening. No people inside -so we were cautious. What a surprise! We had the best evening of our stay there. Meals wonderful - the best Creme brûlée we ever had. And very fresh seabrass. And the proprietor Maxim gave us warm welcome and a nice Stay. Thank you very much. Definitely delicious.!!!
Our dinner at La Cuisine De Cesar was spontaneous but we had a lot of fun. We enjoyed the appetizers and the dinners. We had mostly fish (salmon/sardines) and we loved every bite of it. Atmosphere was romantic. Highly recommended.
