We visited La Derive for the final meal of our honeymoon and it was a great meal. Sainte Maxine was a bit hectic as it was a sat so we bundled our way in. My wife had the goatcheese and honey salad and I had an amazing steak with the red wine sauce that was the best sauce of the week, (the best steak was at L'cademy). The rose was ok but after a week of over indulgence on rose wine they were all starting to taste the same! Great end to a lovely week! The restaurant was quiet clean with a nice layout.
Staff not particularly pleasant. In the set menu salad was not specified as one of the sides, only frites. I ordered a small salad and to my surprise I found salad as a side in my main plate. They should have told me. Food really...average….salad was best part of it! We will not give them a second chance.
An excellent evening of food, wine and hospitality after a damp squib of an evening in St Tropez. The welcome was warm and the food was delicious with a special mention to the size of the sharing platter starters too...oh and the house red...is tasty also!...no rush, no fuss a lovely evening : D
we had two lunches in this busy restaurant just a short walk from the casino area. moules fries and then the set menu another day with salat and bevette were all good. service was friendly, portion size good and represents good value for money....Good on search for out.

it cannot fail, excellent authentic French cuisine, we had the ris de veau (sweetbreads) and bark meat tars that were eating tasty, the service attentive and smiling. no bad atmosphere. I understand why they have been in operation since 1948, we will go back

the ingredients were so fresh and tasty we could get enough of it thespray was served in a massive glass and the staff was super friendly we enjoyed our experience from beginning to end and coming back!
Un accueil chaleureux, des serveurs efficaces, des plats frais, tout ça dans un cadre très agréable! Nous avons pris le burger, tartare italien, spaghettis aux gambas et spaghettis vongole.

Had the Tuna which was beautiful followed by Creme Brulee which was amazing. Nice atmosphere with friendly service. Would recommend
