Being vegetarian I always fear a little not very well eaten, but to my great surprise on the map several dish are vegetarians! So I took a vegetal burger served with little potatoes, really nice. we booked a table for my birthday lunch after visiting the villandry gardens. We arrived early but our table was available. We waited to be served but no one came. After 15 minutes, my husband stopped one of the servers by the way and asked for the menu. He came back and practically threw the menus on us and apologized and said he was alone and rushed again. Of course there were other servers, but we didn't see anyone managing the service. we chose what we wanted and continued to wait. I drew the server's attention several times but he ignored me. Other people came and were monitored. After 40 minutes, we got up and left. You don't need to say that no one noticed.

pleasant restaurant on the terrace really at the foot of the castle, right out, in a nice shade and tree setting.Plats and simple but well prepared desserts and very nicely presented. Service rather smiling and rather fast.Precision: we were on the terrace under the umbrellas and we think it was better than under the tent or inside. And the time was pretty good. good value quality price : about 90 € for dishes, desserts and drinks.

dish from day to 14 euros, correct but without more. a lot of herbs and flowers that make the tastes a little whipped in the plate. But what killed us is the gourmet coffee at 12 euros. with 5 tiny dicks. For me it is out of price especially that some bites were missing cooking. at this price it should be copied and good. Even the tiramissu was not at the coffee...I put a way for the frame and the friendly servers.

very (too) often the restoration within tourist places such as the villandry castle is mediocre or expensive. We were surprised by the very good value for money of this restaurant: the prices are correct (ragged instead) and the contents of the plate good, copied and carefully prepared and also a little originality. a dish seems sufficient to recover before starting the visit or continuing to the next step.

We made this restaurant following our visit to the castle, I recommend if you arrive in the morning to book. very good reception, correct rate : menue à 14 euros with choice of 3 dish of the day including a vegetarian. flat well erected in the plate and very good, I took the salmon tartare and my husband the beef tartare, we feasted.

I recommend this restaurant located in the castle enclosure. The kitchen is copied and very good.Tartare fresh and seasoned salmon olive oil available. new potatoes and salad in more than sufficient quantity. Smoky fish plate very original.Serves and servers efficient and friendly.
