La Esperanza Bakery If you’re looking for great tamales, my favorites are at La Esperanza Bakery in Caldwell. I’ve eaten a lot of tamales over the years and I’ve had some excellent ones. These are by far the best I have ever had. They are also far superior to the James Beard award winning Tamales I had at Los Hernandez Tamales in Union Gap, Washington. The tamales are kept back in the kitchen, so you have to ask for them. Jalapeño Cheese and Red Chile Pork tamales are available daily, until they run out. in the opposite to work and on this place for a tasty bite, and young I was surprised! a real Mexican bakery in caldwell idaho that knew it! this place has completely changed/valued my mind to conchas. I choose the rule for tres leches or flan when I go into a Mexican bakery, but they had none when I got in. So I have an oreo and a mazapan concha and let me tell you. they were the best conchas I ever had in my life! they were so fresh, warm and perfectly balanced with sweet. that is now the standard for conchas for the rest of my life. I'm sorry for my pictures of bitten conchas, but I had low expectations before I first bite

delicious baked pastries and sweet brote, great variety with something new or other every time I go in. tamales are also super tasty and they have dozens of cold drinks to choose from also coffee and customized cakes. highly recommended! Reserva una mesa ahora

If I could leave zero stars I would. I waited in line for 20 mins with only 3 people in front of me. When I asked to speak to the supervisor she was rude and told me to leave. No vayan a esta tienda! Lo traten a uno mal y groseros.

Terrible customer service. Also the cashier touched all the bread while handling money. it's self-serve so everyone is touching everything without gloves or hand sanitizer
