If there were a half star I would give them a half star. Never got to fast the food because there service was terrible. We were greeted politely and sat at a table. While waiting for the server we witnessed the family before us, who’s table was right next to us be served coffee and order taken. We patiently continued to wait, even played a few rounds of tiktactoe with my son and nothing! After 15 min, I saw two other couples come in, be seated and orders taken with drinks served. At this point I told my and my son let’s go! Needless to say we were there 20 min and no one offered to bring us coffee nor a glass of water while we reviewed the menu. No service, bad service!
I was extremely disappointed with the appearance of my main course and to top it off I was over charged. They lady had already charged my credit card as she then told me my total. They refunded me the $13.49 after they went to talk to the waitress but clearly if she looked at the bill ,how is it possible for them to charge me 3 Agua frescas ,1 regular coffee,1 Diet Coke ,and 1 café lechero and only two plates ??? I felt like the cashier believed I was lying and went to verify with the waitress. She didn’t even apologize or said anything when we left very unprofessional.
Not Mexican at all cold food , caldo is made with Chicken broth taste like can soup, no Mexican rice they give you white. Food has no flavor and beware of the cheese enchiladas they put half a slice of cheese and alot of some kind of salsa and of course it is cold. Very disappointed with this place McAllen location and probably waitress got upset cause said those were not cheese enchiladas she never came back to see if we needed anything else. Horrible service.
the best Mexican hot chocolate anywhere! the server mix it at their table. the food is delicious and the bakery smells amazing. they have something for everyone. and with very affordable trips this makes for a perfect Sunday morning family breakfast Reserva una mesa ahora
