4.5 is about right. Great place. Atmosphere is great...nice little community Italian/New York/pizzeria. Staff is very friendly and polite. Recently had chicken marsala with a side of spaghetti and a side of broccoli sautéed with garlic and oil. The chicken marsala was very good but a tad bit sweet . The spaghetti was on point. The broccoli with garlic and oil tasted very good, really took on that garlic flavor...I just wish it was a little more crispy...I think it was overcooked and very soft...and it might have killed the nutrients...I eat my veggies to try to stay healthy. Do you have time for a delicious slice of pizza? Absolutely. Head on over to LA Familia in Katonah. Located in a small strip mall, this cozy spot is adorned with college pennants from around the country. However, the pizza tastes like it was freshly made in Italy. The flavors are rich, the crust is perfect, and there are so many combinations to choose from that I felt like a kid in a candy store, wanting to try them all! Each pie is topped with fresh ingredients and looks absolutely mouth-watering. If you find yourself in Katonah, a visit to LA Familia is definitely worth it. You can even take a train from New York City and enjoy the charm of this quaint town.

I recently hosted a small birthday gathering at my home and decided to try a catered lunch. I ordered two half trays of gnocchi and salmon rappini. The food was delicious, the packaging was careful and sturdy, and the service was outstanding (I even called before finalizing my online order). Given the high prices at many restaurants nowadays, I was impressed with the quality and quantity of food provided by LF catering. It was a great surprise for my family to be able to enjoy such a great meal at home for a small gathering. Keep up the good work, LF!

The individual cheese slice was fantastic, crust was crispy, sauce was robust and cheese was perfectly cooked. One of the best slices I've had in awhile. Came back a few days later and placed and ordered for a small cheese pie and it was terrible in comparison... It was like a totally different recipe. The crust tasted like it was made with gluten free or unleavened dough, the cheese was overcooked, it was an orange greasy mess, and the pizza was oversalted. Reserva una mesa ahora

After meeting the very courteous staff as a first timer, I was guided towards the meatball sub. While waiting, I challenged the final product to match New Haven CT quality. It was right there. I'll be back to sample other options.

Stopped in for a quick lunch on our way up the Saw Mill Parkway. Fantastic pizza. Super friendly. Highly recommended.
