The best Italian restaurant in Freising! Totally pleasant location. Pretty old building in the Neustift area of Freising. A short walk from the old cloister (which now house the county offices) and St. Peter & Paul's church. The interior of the restaurant has lots of wood and is nice and cozy in cool weather. Out front, there's a shady terrace for warm evenings. Consistently friendly service. Delicious hand made pizza and pasta. Good quality, fresh ingredients. Always a pleasure to eat there. Reasonable prices, too!
This place is cute, Italian and yummi at the same time! Out of the center, it is the place where many locals seem to go. The people are super nice and fast service. Also the food is proper and the pizzas are better than in Italy. A good choice for a nice spring day. Loved the atmosphere. Not sure if you want to make the whole hike there, considering the many restaurants in the center, but it is nicely on the way of the Natur&Kultur hike in Freising and its direct surroundings and worth visiting.
Italian family-style restaurant and pizzeria located in a neighborhood on the edge of Freising. You will need a good GPS guide to find it but it's worth it. The owners and wait staff all speak German and Italian. We had two very good pizza from their wood-fired oven and it was very close to what we find in Italy where we live. We were seated near the two young Italian guys making the pizza and they surprised my teenage daughter by forming her pizza into the shape of a heart. That's Italian!!!!!
We've been to La Fattoria several times over the past five years when visiting family in Freising. It's one of our favorite Italian restaurants. Lively, busy, noisy, fun . . . and great food. Bring cash, as I don't think they take credit cards (at least they didn't a few years ago, and I haven't asked since.

I know this restaurant since 20 years or more. At all this time it you got the best pizza in Freising. Unfortunately the Interior equipment isnt´very nice, but there is a little beer garden. I recommend booking a table, otherwise it is hard to get a place.
We grabbed dinner here one night before flying out of Munich. We were the typical Americans who could only speak a little German and the owner was extremely helpful in serving us. We'd suggest this place to anyone!
By far the best italian restaurant in Freising. Especially the meat and fish dishes are superb. If you want to go for a budget menu the pizza and pasta dishes are delicious as well for reasonable prices.
we went in and were immediately greeted to a seat in the back. the place was initially a bit warm, but once I had shed my pullover, it was comfortable.

Like that this place was within walking distance to my hotel while staying on business. Food is good and prices reasonable. Would go back!
