I frequently eat out and I enjoy comparing different restaurants. I headed to la Fontana for an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend and I can honestly say this was the worst dining experience I have ever had.It started when I parked the car 3 blocks away and could already hear the music coming from the restaurant. When we arrived we were told there was no indoor seating which was fine but when we sat on the patio we got harassed by wasps for the entirety of the dinner as they have no traps or bug nets. I had dined at this restaurant before COVID and was looking forward to returning, as I had a great experience last time. Unfortunately, this time was a bit different. When we sat down, the owner or manager turned up the music to an extremely loud volume. After we complained, it was turned down slightly, but it was still hard to hear each other. The hostess gave us the wrong menus, and when we finally decided on our meals, one of them was unavailable. My wife tried to choose a replacement dish without mushrooms due to her allergy, but it wasn't possible. She ended up having a pizza instead, which was good but not what she had wanted. The guy who was serving us was super cool. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. I ordered a pizza and pasta for lunch. The pizza was flavourless and very dry. The pasta wasn’t bad. The service was ridiculous. Had to wait more than 30 mins for my food considering the restaurant was basically empty. The service was so slow that the server thought I already had my food and brought me the check without even checking whether the food was served to the table or not. I really enjoyed the natural atmosphere here. This restaurant serves amazing food. I really recommend the Hot Honey Pizza. I was hesitant ordering it, but I was really impressed. The burrata salad is also divine. Those who ordered the caramelized onion pasta were very pleased. I really recommend this spot!

My family and I had a wonderful experience at LaFontana. We started with the charcuterie board, which I highly recommend. For our main dishes, we all enjoyed the gluten-free pizza and pasta, which had the best gluten-free crust in the area. Our server, Eryn, was extremely friendly and attentive.

Ordered hot and honey pizza which had basically no flavour. Felt like we were eating cardboard. Waited more than 20 minutes for food eventhough the restaurant was pretty much empty, the order was only for 2 people.
