La Fontana Del Mare

This restaurant seems very popular based on the amount of people that had to wait outside for their tables to be available. It was a very cool night for standing outside. We had a reservation at 6:30 for inside. There were several parties ahead of us to be seated so they offered us the porch. We took it and it was very unpleasant. The few heaters did nothing to keep us comfortable. On the bright side, We had 4 different entrées and all were delicious. This restaurant is suffering from lack of staff like so many others. I’m sure it is much better in season and I will go back in the summer and ask for a table on the porch.

Food is great!! Originally we were booked to sit outside but when we arrived it was too noisy in the outside area so we asked to be seated inside. It worked out wonderfully! We do love sitting outside here and it’s been quiet in the past, this time the outside was full causing it to be loud. Everything was absolutely delicious, highly recommend this B.Y.O.B.

The food was enjoyable, but the service completely overshadowed it. The staff had a terrible attitude. While the specials were tasty, they were nearly twice the price of their regular dishes. Our waitress only came by to take our order and deliver the bill. Overall, it’s not worth being treated so poorly just for the chance to enjoy a good meal.

I never grow tired of singing the praises of a night out at La Fontana Del Mare and last night was know different. Great service, excellent food, plenty of attentiveness (and bread refills), and a comfortable atmosphere. Well done, consistently a top level restuarant! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food and service were very good but did not outweigh the fact that we couldn’t talk because of the noise level. An elegant meal should include a relaxing volume of conversation. We all have sore throats from yelling to be heard.

service was poor. wait, franklin forgot the appetizers and when he asked, he was shocked. He said as to me, they didn't order it. that's not how to treat it.

Fabulous meal every time! Our favorite Italian restaurant at the shore! Very fresh and great menu. Just over the bridge from OCNJ. BYOB!
