La Foret - Reserva de mesa

on the day of climbing we went to this restaurant for a long late lunch, which was not so impressive with her eating. it wasn't cheap. we had a bottle of white wine; two appetizers and main dishes. total bill was 77... euro the appetizers were snails, tastes good (a bit like the one you could buy in waitrose) but little fat. I had the court of the day that was a plate of cut roast beef with a kind of thick dressing and greasy roasted potato slices, tastes so, but nothing special; my partner had a confetti entre, which was only a deep fried bone with some very greasy fries; my daughter had a basket of chips that was some greasy three times fried chips. we wouldn't go back there!

We drive by this place regularly and we are always amazed by the number of cars parked in the car park given that it is in the middle of nowhere situated between Arbonne-la-Foret and Milly-la-Foret on the Arbonne, Milly road. If you are visiting Fontainebleau...and you want to try some great french cuisine, (you have to be a meat love though), avoid all the expensive tourist restaurants in Fontainebleau and drive 10 mins west towards Milly-la-Foret and you will not be disappointed. it is a meat lovers paradise, with generous portions and a warm atmosphere.

this our 2nd visit in the last 6 months. we visited with a big group, but it was rewarding. we had to wait a bit, but it was worth it. Nice atmosphere, good eating and wein. I encourage them to taste the sweet beard and of course the escargot as entree. it's a little out of the way, but it's never less parking space and sensible eating. Do not miss this if you visit the bouldering area or the kings forest around fontainebleau. especially popular among locals.

Some of the best pizzas around Fontainebleau (and some basic salads too). In the summer, the terrace is really welcoming too. Great for takeouts. The owner also rents crash pads and is very chatty (French and English). Will tell you all about the rock climbing...areas and more. Reserva una mesa ahora

between arbonne and milly la foret. great brasserie bar, think they, new owners not pizza, but eat excellent brasserie. my bavette was delicious and the cafe gourmand dessert was great. excellent prices and beautiful atmosphere. highly recommended, try it!

we had reserved because we were many and on Sunday there is a world, the welcome was as always as pleasant and warm, perfect lunch, special mention to the mice of lamb and gourmet chocolate.

excellent cuisine, refined dishes, ç is fresh, ç is tasted, ç is original. A little remark to the staff who is a little cold and haughty.
