La Fourchette - Reserva de mesa

My wife and I visited for dinner and there were some red flags right away, one server was warm and friendly, while our main server was openly hostile and downright rude. At one point, she almost threw the food on the table. My wife had a fish dish she thought was pretty good and I had a pork dish that was downright terrible and never should have been served. Our server threw some bread on the table but we had to flag her down to ask for olive oil. The pork was dry, overcooked and flavorless, so much so I felt ill after the worst meal I've had in France. Would steer clear.

Excellent restaurant. On the way to Avignon, we discovered this restaurant in pure luck and were delighted: precise and impeccable service, finely executed dishes, fresh products, dishes and homemade desserts, very beautiful wine map and excellent advice. Ideal for business or in love. Very helpful, real customer service: the boss gave us a map of the city with visitor indications.!

very good reception. I regret a little for my dishes (the braise veal) the lack of flavors associated, a little fade or too simple during cooking. and especially the thickened sauces (which kill a little the taste of the soothes of the meat simmered and its condiments garnished .?and others that lack . to avoid otherwise if you do not want to taste.

despite our late arrival (14 hours), the restaurant welcomed us. the chief improvised an entrance out of the box we didn't expect, because of the departure of the kitchen team. waitresses have allied effectiveness to attention, making this stop as pleasant as it is. Very nice establishment. Friendly staff. Copious and quality dishes. Very good value quality price. A culinary address to remember on Avignon. Close to the main historical monuments of Avignon Palais des Papes , Clock Square , Museums , Pont ....
