The ardoise tempted us in, but the 2 dishes we wanted souris d'agneau and home made burger weren't available. So we took the coquelet. Re ally VERY good. It looked a little pale and flabby as it hadn't been roasted but braised. It was moist, succulent, delicious served with good spuds and a thin jus, which threatened to run off the plate as the table was at an acute angle, and a bit of salad. The salad.... Now why WHY WHY do restaurant staff INSIST on squirting crème de balsamic all over everything? Why?Good service.

We met an Italian Couple in Dolceacqua Italy who told us their favorite restaurant, in Southern France was in La Turbie. Ironically that's where we were staying on the next leg of our trip. Since we met that couple at great local, place we naturally took their advice. Great fresh food! And, one of the owners we met Julie is great too! If you are a Foodie just go! We had lunch and dinner there and dessert after a huge lunch late Lunch in Monaco the next night. Hidden Gem!

In La Turbie this small and very charming restaurant just opened and what an asset it is for this town. Lovely atmosfer, great food and great service. Especially loved the chocolate cake. When you visit this area make sure you do not miss this wonderfull place.
