Very surprised to read such extreme reviews on this restaurant! For my part, the experience was at the height of my expectations for this range of tourist restaurant: warm welcome, quick and attentive service and a table perfectly placed: on the floor against the glassed part so with view of the port and the sunset sun. The dishes we have taken have been well appreciated by all (sea molds, roquefort molds, butcher and child menu with pasta/fish). 2 perfectible points: the quality of the bread the service of the cocktails that was made in very epais wine glasses so not pleasant for the tasting Globally I recommend!
Home very unpleasant Cuisine bad We had taken aperitif seedlings and after 5 minutes the fish had so hardened that they were immangeable, which means it was frozen products. The rest was really bad and we left the 3/4 of our plates High price and minimum service oysters served with white bread! Establishment to run away if you don't want to scam you
A pleasant welcome and everything is spoiled with the seafood of a doubtful freshness, warmed fries and to finish a reflection of a waitress that we did not have rest but that reproaches us not to leave the currency in tip. 20 years that we're in oleron and there we touch the bottom.
We took a soft formula and à la carte dishes. The fish soup was succulent, the damaging mussels were broken and full of sand. The burger was medium. On the other hand, the pavlova and the floating island are delicious desserts. The staff were very kind and helpful with a smile.

Noisy restaurant, not very clean. Plates without any flavors.. Even fries are frozen. We left without taking the desserts from the menu the person who prepared them was only coughing on it.... Tourist catch par excellence.
Used to coming every year during our stay on the island always well served, welcomed just a small downside this year we found less choice on the menu especially for our young people but otherwise nothing to say.
The mussels were very fades. Whether it's mariners or clams. Basic ice and verrine with 2 meringué lemons without flavor. Only positive points the very correct child menu and the white wine of Oleron good.
Not a great restaurant when we came, we had a very average chowder, not very filling, and fish full of bones.
