La Gelat - Reserva de mesa

On aa short visit to Porticcio we decided the place wasn 't terribly exciting, and after having walked along the beach for a while and having half an hour left before we would leave, we decided to have an ice cream and a drink. Since we didn 't like the prices in the establishments on the beach, we looked for an alternative, and found La Gelat on the other side of those beach establishments, near some shops. They have a terrace, and a menu with a good choice of ice cream dishes, salads, pasta dishes, snacks, etc. We had an ice cream, and my wife had a mini hot chocolate petit chocolat . After a hard day in the mountains of Corsica we were looking for nice place for a simple meal burgers and fries. La Gelat looked like the rigth thing but turned out to be the exact opposite. We ordered 4 simple burgers with different sides. 2 of us got the right things and the others was wrong I got a double cheese burger instead of a normal burger ?? . The salad served was very dry and borring the cucumber seemed a bit old ! The fries were line loose rubber bands. Completely none crispy and with no salt at all. Two of us ordered the beefs 'medium ' when we had choise between 'medium ' and 'well done '. Bad decision! The medium was simply fried at a way too low temperature and smelled of boi...

Waiter very rude and sneaky. Gives you just a card with complete meals while we outside asked for sandwiches. After asking he comes with the right card. Then takes away the knife and fork after bringing the sandwiches. How childish. Will come here never again!
