Food only ok. I had to complain that the Parmesan cheese sprinkled over the top of my daughter’s dish had a hard piece of green mould in it. The waiter returned from the chef trying to assure us that the ‘cheese comes in a hard outer shell and sometimes the harder bits get grated in’!… like we were not able to tell what mould is or how Parmesan cheese is packaged and delivered. Felt ‘fobbed off’ at this. In my mind, if a customer complains and points out mould in food, the dish should be removed and replaced immediately, not argue and try to pass off with an excuse. Shocking service, when we arrived with my 10 year old son who is in a wheelchair we were asked if we told them there was a wheelchair coming and after saying no they said theirs only 1 table for us then which was right at the front door which was cold throughout with people coming and going. The rude manager who was then mouthing off due to her staff making a mistake with the drinks order was a joke and if my taxi had still been outside we would have left. Food was then bland with no taste and tried to flavour it with salt and pepper, so all and all a complete waste of money and effort with no draft beer available. You use to be guaranteed a good meal here but now just bland overpriced ****.
Been in tonight to be faced with a rude manager who took the huff after being asked to move us table so we weren’t sitting near the door in the cold. Then when I (with a serious nut allergy) asked for allergy information they said they don’t have any sheets to show us (nor is it on the menu) despite this being law and instead insisted I “trust them, there’s no nuts….well except for behind the bar but that’s no where near food… except it is near the desserts stuff.” Left immediately, like I get it’s clearly not a big deal for you or your servers but it’s literally life or death for me
This is a great place for a casual night out that won't break the bank. We have eaten here 3 times and have enjoyed our food and service each time. I wanted something that wasn't on the menu and the owner was happy to oblige. My favourite simple dish of spagetti agio, olio et peperoncino. It was so good. Service with a smile, great food and an Italian in the kitchen. What more could you ask for?

Risotto watery waited 25 mins for sweet menu. Toilets disgusting. Hand towel paper all over floor and on wet floor round urinals . Stuck to shoes on way out . Just hope hygiene in kitchen is better ! Why can’t 2 girls on reception look at tables and help instead of standing with their backs to customers . Very poor dining experience.
Booked here last minute.food was great,service was good,but boy we could not hear each other talk,this was a Saturday at 5.30pm possibly quieter through the week but for that reason I wouldn't return as I like to hear what my friends and family are saying with asking them to repeat themselves.
We were looking for somewhere different to eat and decided to try La Gondola in Kirkcaldy. Easy to park close to the door, friendly welcome and friendly waiting staff. The owners lovely and talks to everyone making you feel like part of the family. And the food….amazing!!!!
Everything was great from booking to entering and ordering food. Staff were attentive and interacted well with our small group. The food was delicious and it was 4 different choices for mains. Great service and all done by very busy staff who still smiled all the time.

Fantastic food as always. Smashing service and a great atmosphere. Salmone tagliatelle was amazing as was the coppa al amareno? Cherry dessrt.
A great find on our holiday. Lovely restaurant. Great food and friendly staff. Food was delicious would definitely go again.
