The service was terrible. The food mediocre to poor. The management disgraceful.Though we were the first to arrive for the evening, it took an hour before our order was taken. We didn't get bread while we were waiting and I had to go ask for it.Waiters and waitresses were nice people but untrained and simply seemed at a loss much of the time. I observed a diner open a bottle of wine while the waiter watched, seemingly unable to do so himself. This was all laughably amateurish until things turned sour on meeting the owner/ manager. beautiful setting and beautiful dining room. The positive stops there. The service is poor and slow, even if the service staff has a nice smile. food really leaves to be desired. we did not receive everything on the host table (we were never served coffee, yet understood). We were 5 and one of the meals was unmeanable. When we reported the problem to the manager, he treated us as liars and a crisis, to the point where he even assaulted a lady in our group by grabbing her by the arm. this restaurant is located in an 8-bedroom inn (breakfast included). Sunday morning the hostel offers breakfasts from 9am to 1pm. It is also possible to eat the evening meal (Lamb, Beef, Ravioli, salmon). check their website for schedules. variable according to the period of the year (months, day and hours). We went for breakfast on Sunday. very nice place with view on vineyards. the restaurant is decorated with the taste of the day. on the wall there are beautiful pictures of the orlean island taken by the proprio (they are also for sale for the interested). the restaurant is very well located near the entrance of the island. the proposed host table menu is quite varied to satisfy all tastes. excellent wine card with several private imports at reasonable prices. very pleasant setting, but very medium reception. brunch = breakfast à la carte (no buffet but why not), barely provided, fresh but unpressed fruit juice, unserved fruit salad, golden bread announced with strawberries and blueberries served effectively with a strawberry. The location is lovely, featuring outdoor seating and a friendly dog welcoming guests near the vineyard. Unfortunately, the food was average in quality and expensive.
