This is just one of our favorite restaurants in Quebec city. My wife does not eat lamb because of the taste of bad quality meat or bad cooking. But when she tasted my roast lamb, she ate quite a lot from my plate. There was an event during our visit and we were taken to another quiet zone. The building itself is quite old, but it is well kept. The sugar cake is fantastic, but the man, the maple pudding cake is dying. If you do not decide what to order, ask the waiter, we took his proposal and we had a nice meal.
The food is just amazing! It's crazy how something that look so simple can taste so great. One might say that the service is a bit slow, but I feel that it's maybe you that lives to fast. Life if made to be enjoye, and going to Les Ancêtres I'm telling you will help you doing just that.
