So this place is highly recommended for seafood lovers and the oysters are apparently very good. However, on the hottest day of the year I reserved a table outside on the terrace overlooking the sea. I particularly requested this. Upon arrival, even though there were tables available outside or next to the open windows they would not allow us to sit on them and showed a complete lack of flexibility. We were not able to change our table which was in the hottest part of the restaurant next to the kitchen with no view. I was unable to sit inside in the heat and so had no choice but to wait outside whilst my children ate (they were very hungry). Interestingly the tables I mention that were free...
This restaurant is highly recommended. the food, dessert, wine and coffee are splendid, with local products and careful processing. the views are fantastic and the reception and treatment of excellent staff. Quality/price very good. if you are in the area, this is an essential place.
Very tasty sea food restaurant! You won’t be disappointed. This is “the” restaurant to test at Chateau d’oleron. A lot of white wines (in glass). In addition, very modern entrance for a drink of after drink at the entrance with beautiful view on the bridge
The food was good but the service was extremely slow. We had to wait ages for every little thing: first the menus, then the bread, etc, and we ended up leaving before even getting the dessert menu (it was just so slow). I would not recommend for families.

We went tonight to enjoy a funfair among friends on the advice of a waitress of another restaurant. we have enjoyed it, the setting is nice, family restaurant and friendly team, to assist you in cooking your eglade. You can go without hesitation!
The best view of the Island Fantastic sea fruits platers The owner, Mr JP is a real mc coy. He will make yourself at home. As desert, try the local desert “la jongée”... a one way ticket to paradise
very pleasant setting, top outdoor terrace, very welcoming staff and care, the crustaceans were fresh, very good! Nothing to say!

Simply amazing! Amazing normandina pizza mussels and exquisite salad! Paired with a beer perfect lunch!
We hopped the ferry ride from Cannes just to briefly see the island and have lunch.
