We were in town for weeks for a project at a local manufacturing company. We went to La Locanda multiple times as we were working late hours and it was close by. And because of the situation at work, we never left in the...evening at a scheduled time. It was variable each day. That meant no reservations. Despite that, we were greeted like family each and every time we went there. We speak very little German and they speak very little English but we were always able to communicate effectively, even down to menu recommendations. The food was amazing and was a great value. Mein Mann und ich haben einen schönen Abend im La Locanda verbracht. Alles war schön weihnachtlich dekoriert inklusive frischer Blumen auf den Tischen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wir konnten uns rundum wohlfühlen. Vorweg gab es vom Haus warme Brötchen und zwei unterschiedliche Cremes. Wir hatten eine kleine Pizza vorweg. Einfach köstlich. Als Hauptspeise gab es einmal Lasagne und einmal Penne mit Lachsstückchen. Sehr lecker beides. Wir waren pappsatt und weil wir 1. Hunger hatten und 2. viel gequatscht haben, gibt es von den Speisen leider kein einziges Foto. Bevor die sehr faire Rechnung kam, gab es noch ein Getränk vom Haus. Wir wurden rundum verwöhnt und kommen ganz sicher wieder...

The chefin was honored to welcome the guests personally.We had the mixed appetizer plate, then pasta and scampi salad. However, here it should be noted that it is merely crawling, served on iceberg salad. scampis are not crawling. the salat was therefore disappointing, which the waiter but also admitted.I recommend the espresso after the food.Really good.Everything really in order and price absolutely in the frame.
If you want an excellent, freshly-cooked meal this is the place to go. We eat here regularly and have never been disappointed. It doesn‘t matter if you simply want a pizza beautiful thin base) or pasta or a special fish platter, you can‘t go...wrong. The owners and staff are family and all work well together.

the food and the service were excellent. the fresh, warm rolls were delicious, my prosciutto ad melon was fresh and delicious. at the main course I went on number safe and decided for the lasagne. I was very happy. eating was fast and the prices are very reasonable. .
there was in our group and we ordered some other lasagne, calfs scallopini with mushrooms, tortellini, spaghetti with pesto and more. they all enjoyed eating. the personal does not speak much English, but show and go far. an additional bonus.
Der beste Italiener im ganzen Kreis Unna Punkt! Die Bedienung ist sehr nett, das Restaurant sehr gemütlich und das Essen hat einen hervorragenden Geschmack und eine tolle Qualität! Mein Liebling in Unna.
