This country house hosts a fantastic restaurant. There is no menu (they ask if there are any food intolerances when you book and carefully work around them), and everything they cook is local, seasonal and fresh. We went on Mother's Day and the restaurant was packed. The all female team is friendly and quick to respond to any requests when we were there roast lamb was served with the traditional mint sauce (home made), I'm not a big fan and requested redcurrant jelly instead. Arrived with my husband late afternoon for an overnight stop plus dinner. Both Alice and Jo wonderfully welcoming and offered tea etc on arrival then we were shown to our room which was comfortable and charming. The whole experience of our visit was just perfect and all I can say is … just go visit and see for yourself ????
