La Madeleine - Reservar una mesa

Madeleine is located at the eastern end of the popular and busy Norwood Parade cafe strip somewhat away from the busy areas. For some, this is a good thing: less crowded, somewhat more tranquil, and no queues (unlike the popular Argo! . And, they serve...excellent coffee and offer a tempting array of house made authentic French patisserie. Well worth a visit for a pleasant sojourn away from the crowds, while still within walking distance of the center of the local action. PS: I read the recent negative review; it was unlike my experience over the years I have found the staff to be pleasant and hospitable.

obviously this has changed the hands but they still have the old menu with the half of the menu not available, which was disappointing as we were this place because of the elements on the menu that were appealing. we have ordered every way and wise how it was reasonable to eat. but it is unfair on the name of the company, as they are no longer in control, as the dinge are now acting under their own names and get fair comments for what they offer

I remember this bakery/cafe from a couple of years and there was always a great selection of French pastries to choose from. this time the only option was a simple croissant that was good, but something overwhelming.

he makes the customer service of the owner/manager, he must participate in the consulting. rude, coffee and baked. cafe room regularly reduced, signs galore, “do not sit here”, “do not move something” ect ect

French pastries are so good and buttery, the mandel croissant is my fav, fresh directly from the often on the morning.
