Terrible customer service. Our first experience here was bad enough for me to leave only 1 star. It was me and my sister's first time eating at this place, which was cafeteria style and was different than what we are used to. We didn't know how it worked. My sister was talking about how she really wanted to order broccoli, so thats what she ordered as her side. After we put in our order, we grabbed a tray like we saw another customer doing. We waited in the middle and another worker said oh they'll be able to help you down there and the lady at the end had such a rude attitude. No smile, no greeting. The menu at this restaurant offers a diverse range of options. Both my husband and I were able to order meals that were very different from each other, yet we both enjoyed them. The standout of our dining experience was our busboy, who was attentive, professional, and genuinely cheerful. I wish he had a nametag so I could give him a proper shout-out by name. I would give this place five stars if the dining experience was calmer and quieter. During our lunch, we found the noise level to be quite high. I have always been a fan of this chain, but unfortunately, this particular location did not meet my expectations. I have tried eating here at four different locations, but the taste and quality at this place were not up to par with the others. The soup tasted like a chemical imitation of potato water, and the galette was undercooked in the middle. I will continue to visit other locations of this chain, but I will definitely not be returning to this one.
I normally really like this place, but I haven't been here in 13 years. I guess the food has changed. I ordered a quiche and a small side of fruit. The quiche was bland and cold and the fruit wasn't fresh. Disappointed. We recently moved back to TX. Whenwe lived here before we came for breakfast almost every Saturday. My family and I visit la Madeleine every Sunday morning. I wanted to express our gratitude to Nai and Donna for always welcoming us with a big smile and ensuring that our experience is wonderful! They are always so friendly and make sure we have everything we need. The food is consistently delicious and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. don't get the salmon. it was terrible. I asked twice about the Americano drink I ordered and never received. had to ask for a refund if it's ready to go. there was no excuse or nothing or even a offer to go. only a silent, non-addressed transaction. I really wanted to like this place because he first visited us. Oh, but her French woofer soup is delicious! 5 for it!
First time visiting and the service was friendly and inviting.. I really feel like the two ladies at the front went above and beyond with customer service, wish I had gotten their names? As I was filling up my tea, my salad was already done and theybrought it over to me. really yummy salad and tea! Can?t wait to go back?
