Pappas seafood House is a local institution. No matter what part of the Houston area you go if you see a “Pappas” of any sort you know you’re gonna get fine dining. The problem with Pappas and it’s always been a challenge is enjoying a good plate of food but knowing the bill is gonna be through the roof. So it’s not the every week take the family out to dinner kind of place. It’s more for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or winning the lottery kind of place. Honestly, the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. The only issue was with the drink my husband ordered. He always gets The Hurricane when we dine here and usually loves it, but this time he said it tasted terrible! I brought it up to our waiter, who offered to add some sweetener, but my husband chose not to send it back. He's had a similar experience with a drink I ordered in the past, and no matter how much they added, it was still awful. Plus, he doesn’t like to make a fuss and even mentioned that I shouldn’t have said anything to the waiter about the drink tasting bad. Other than that, everything else was great, and we really enjoyed our meal.

The Seafood is fresh and delicious. The appetizers are delicious as well, especially the Fondue. The salads and desserts, hard to find anything that isn't delicious. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Great location with ample parking. Enjoy and Bon Appetit!

Expected to wait awhile since they were packed and looked a little short on staff but wow they were hustling and moving and got our food out with minimal wait. Very impressive! Everything was perfect: temperature,taste and portion size. Great job! Reserva una mesa ahora

The Wild Mahi and Sample Platter (Fried) was amazing. Cooked to perfection with excellent flavors. The drinks were strong and hit the spot. Service was a little slow but overall, enjoyed the food and the experience!

My daughter I just had lunch there it was absolutely delicious! Our waitress was Brandi. She was fast polite. It was a truly pleasant experience they’ve gained a customer for life!

This place is just worth it. Everything is so darn yummy. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I have never left this place hungry and will definitely be coming back.

The food is fantastic, though the prices are a bit steep. However, you're sure to enjoy your meal!
