Even before we arrive, we receive helpful emails asking us if we need our transfers from the airport organised, or if we would like any lunch or dinner reservations to be taken care of prior to arrival. Yes, absolutely.... And it all gets done, and...everything goes flawlessly. This was our fourth time staying at La Mourra. Each time we have stayed in the double bedroom suite of room 22.... This is a perfect set up with two older teenage boys and ourselves. La Mourra is everything that the other hotels are… And that they are not. It is beautiful, luxurious, exceptionally clean, comfortable and well-located. The level of service here outdoes absolutely everywhere… Everyone is made to feel lik...
This has been on our list each trip since it opened and up until this year has always been excellent. But something was off this year -not sure what! The service was slow all evening and, Black Cod excepted, the food just seemed a bit...bland! Which was a real shame as we'd been looking forward to it. Sometimes this happens so will try again next year. Be aware of over-ordering here though. You don't need to order as much as you think as it is very filling!
we were passing through the bar of the hotel to taste a good bottle of ruinart very well welcomed by the staff at the living room, it gave us the thought of s attarder at the restaurant or we tasted a palette of flavor on an Asian dominance, very beautiful wine cellar, very good service with a mention very good for dock our server accompanied by attentive masters of hotel, all in a place *****
Stunning design but really really bad food. The fish we ordered was mostly inedible and even basics like noodles with vegetables were worse than the most basic takeout which is unfortunate given the prices. We expected much better cuisine. The decor is really lovely though...so definitely go and have a drink at the bar but AVOID for dinner.

We always try to visit La Mourra when we come to Val D’isere and the restaurant gets busier and busier so you must book. The many staff are very professional and attentive, the food is great and wine list is very good. Pricey but worth...that special treat!;
the setting is beautiful, chic, luxury and warm at the same time. the yellowing card is delicate and delicious. The service is just perfect, a warm and very pro staff! A very nice family time for a dinner party. !
superb place, home without fault, rare comfort.As for the kitchen, I have never tasted such fine and good dishes. The staff is extremely kind, we have to go.
