I went there after a cemetery service. Although it was a somber day we had a wonderful area to come to at the restaurant. The food was plentiful from the stuffed mushrooms, salad, pasta dishes, meat dishes, cookies and other dishes provided. The family did not feel rushed so we were able to catch up with each other during the meal, take pictures, and say our goodbyes before we headed to our respective homes and states. It had been an eventful and sad day but the food and atmosphere of the restaurant helped to soften the experience a bit. It helped to have a parking lot for all the cars as well.
My wife, friends, and I had dinner at this restaurant during our visit from Florida. La Parma is my top choice for an Italian restaurant in Nassau County. I was disappointed to learn that the Port Washington location was closed, as it was closer to me. The food is consistently delicious (served family style) and the service is excellent. Typical Italian restaurant. Good choice of sea food. Not the typical pizza type place. The shrimp dish and marinara was the best on our order list. Pricier after the epidemic and inflation. Supply/demand economics will decide if the lofty prices can be sustained. Service: Dine in Price per person: $100+
I ordered dinner for delivery from this restaurant and it cost over $100 per person. The food was amazing, I would rate it a 5 out of 5. The service was also excellent, I would give it a 5 out of 5. However, the atmosphere, in this case, was lacking and I would rate it a 3 out of 5.

Caring staff, great portions and tasty options. Dining solo was amazing I had stuffed clams, stuffed mushrooms, and the Cesar salad. All 3 delightful and the bread was nice and crispy. Like there was some crunch. Enough for lunch tomorrow. Came hungry left satisfied
The food was great. Don't miss the clams with linguini. The wait staff really took care of us. The price is very fair for family size portions.
