this is our favorite restaurant for over 5 years, but our last visit was illuminated by the poor quality of the waiting staff. and aperitif came together with the white wine we had ordered, which was not in a cooler and ended... at a lukewarm bath temperature. I think too many covers and too little/poor trained staff is a recipe for unsatisfactory customers. it is not a cheap formal so we expect better, especially as we have been here many paintings. the times are difficult to personalize at the moment, but then they need to reduce their covers and take the hit if they want to keep their masters. as always excellent eating and we will give it another try.
Ate here early September when staying at the nearby Chateau de Chantore. Sat outside, wee bit cold but outdoor heaters made for a lovely evening. Food excellent, wonderful Autumn salad to start with a dressing that was divine. For main course had tuna that was...cooked just perfectly, whilst my wife had turbot. Delicious rice pudding for desert with salted caramel, not a dish I normally associate with France. Friendly staff, reasonably priced, would definitely visit again
We found this little restaurant from a recommendation on Trip adviser, we were not disappointed. The garden was very well maintained with an eclectic and interesting mix planting an garden ornaments, made even better by a very warm sunny day and a nice distant view...of Mont St Michelle. The food was exceptional with great service and friendly staff, I would highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion.
we said this was an excellent fish restaurant. the restaurant itself has a lot of character and charm and the owner(? is very friendly. Maybe because it was bastille day, the restaurant was completely full and the service was terrible. a young man who served us nothing from the menu or the wee. the a la carte menu is very small. the price is high and is at least 50% above the average for the surface.

Vraiment une super expérience... très surprenant, patron adorable, lieu avec un charme et une deco incroyable... on fait ses achats déco maison en meme temps, c'est juste dingue... en plus très bon.... continuez comme ca et on reviendra
Un super moment entre mère et filles dans cet endroit atypique et tellement charmant ! De la décoration, à l'assiette et durant le service, tout était parfait ! A refaire aux beaux jours pour tester l'extérieur tout aussi charmant !
Un repas excellent, une décoration atypique mais de très bon goût. Possibilité d'acheter des bibelots. Des serveurs souriants et sympa. Nous y retournerons sans hésitation
