My wife and I came for lunch at 1:30 pm and was treated brutally by an aggressive and arrogant young woman who doesn’t understand the concept of hospitality. The staff of the kitchen was not there and there was no one in the restaurant. However, the exterior panel indicated that the restaurant was well opened without mentioning any closure at 13:30. We could not even see ourselves offering a drink or a cold dish. A shame. Address to avoid at all costs and which does not honor the French hospitality. We come back from this restaurant and ate very well. Before entering this inn the smell of tasty dishes puts water in our mouth. The waitress was very pleasant, with a lot of humor and simplicity as we like. Goat ravioli and mushroom veal flaps were succulent... Such a copyful entrance that we want to eat the dish! The flavors were very pleasant. The rosemary beef cheek and nut beef were deliciously good, the very tender meats and a subtle and very good taste. Excellent homemade ice cream. Chestnut. Lemon basil, and rosemary honey... a pleasure!
This smallish restaurant is just fantastic. It's been here over 40 years and we know that because we used to come here 34 years ago. The food is great and the service sensational. The two servers both speak excellent English which is handy and will willingly help with your choices. We've had the salmon, pork, steak and all we great along with amazing desserts. And the price is good too. ...and it's all in a lovely little village.
