La Petite Framboise French

Had a beautiful visit early Saturday night, my friend and I enjoyed a bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne, exquisite escargot and amazing duck tacos. Service was excellent. Owner was gracious enough to fit us in early since we didn’t have reservations so did not take advantage by ordering dinner, next time for that. Unfortunately while leaving I slipped on something by the exit but recovered fast, my friend and I had just come from the country fest at Massapequa Park that afternoon so she was dressed in western outfit, to the girl at the bar who laughed at me when I fell and made a derogatory insulting remark about my girlfriends outfit, shame on you. It is one of the best French restaurants on Long Island. Nice staff, yummy food, and good vibe. Can’t say that I was terribly impressed by the taste of the food. Service and atmosphere definitely a 5 star but “delicious” would not be a word I could honestly describe my hanger steak. And at $47, I would want to be wowed by my food. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
