We were a walk on to this restaurant and afterwards wished we had kept on walking. Food was bland and uninspiring, decor the same. Waiting staff are not the most helpful. So the food, my wife, had the chicken in a cream and mushroom sauce, which was bland and very thin, not as described. Well, as you say, chefs with over 40 years of experience should know what they need to do. As for me giving lots of negative reviews, I don't think I have only given my humble opinion. When food is poor, what can I say, I can only give a review on what is presented in front of me. Sorry if that offends.
5 stars all the way for this Italian restaurant, the food was absolutely scrumptious, I ordred pizza gluten free but you wouldn't have known it was the best pizza I've tasted. My son's steak was devine, everything was beautifully cooked, the service was second to none, the staff were very attentive, great drinks menu, great food menu and it had a lovely authentic Italian feel to the place, we felt like we were on holiday in Italy, I definitely would recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning, thankyou for making it a wonderful experience
We found this lovely restaurant after searching last minute for somewhere to dine for valentines night. They accommodated us no problem we are very glad they did! Friendly, attentive staff and a real family run atmosphere...nothing was too much trouble. The food was lovely.. tasted very authentic with generous portions which were full of flavour! Highly recommend very reasonably priced too..we will definitely be back in the future!

The table service was excellent at this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, a perfect dining experience. I highly recommend the Calzone dish. I rated the service, food, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5 stars.
