Being anaphylactic to capsicum, chilli and paprika ordering takeaway gives me anxiety, unless the establishment we are ordering from sound like they know what they are doing. Surfers La Porchetta are fantastic! Michael answered my call and explained that the pizza maker will use fresh...gloves and new clean cutters for all the pizzas in our order. Upon pick up, he assured me again that there had been no cross contamination. Now... the pizzas were DELICIOUS! Definitely our go to on the gold coast!
Expectations were high as we eat at La Porchetta in Hobart. The son ordered spaghetti bolognese which he said was just ok -actually didn't finish eating it which was unusual). Husband and I shared the chicken and avocado fettuccine pasta. Not much chicken in...it, but, full of Avacado. We shared a pizza with the lot. Only had one slice as the toppings were cut so thick you could not enjoy it especially the thickness of the capsicum and mushrooms. Service was quick and friendly.
Very disappointed went there for dinner the orders were delivered very quickly which creates doubt on how well they were cooked. We soon noticed our steak was not cooked properly as requested, also our chicken parmigiana seemed like it was only warmed up in the...microwave. Very disappointed as other la porchetta franchise are very good. Looks like the chef was busy trying to get meals ready and owners would like guests to get in and out and free up tables for others.
We are here, doing the prices maybe a tad high for the quality, we all enjoyed our food but didn’t think it was anything special. Now to why they got one star. The toilet is down a back alley and you have take a key...on spanner that is wet and stored in the kitchen!! In addition the toilet is very poorly kept. Keeping a dirty wet spanner in the kitchen is not appropriate. Probably about time to review the HACCP plan.

Went here with our family of including kids up to grandparents. We had a mix of pizzas, pasta and kids meals and it did not disappoint. Prices reasonable, food really tasty. The kids meals were great, chicken parma was amazing (said my year...old).
Delicious and value for money. Visited on a busy night so our meals took a while to come out. Well worth the wait. Food was amazing. Portions were very well sized. Great ambience good for families. Wait staff professional and very friendly.
We have eaten here in the past and enjoyed, but were disappointed this time. Pizza was cold. The staff really weren’t up to the task, having to confirm our order times and we still had to correct them each time.
Popped in here on our first night in Surfers. You know what you’ll get. Good pizza and pasta, rest of menu is quite reasonable too. Service was good considering they were very busy.

Looking for somewhere to eat...found La Porchetta, We had a beautiful meal, service was great, fairly basic restaurant but would definitely recommend it for a good meal or pizza.
