La Poutine - Reserva de mesa

Yesterday two of us went to La Poutine and were torn about which one to order....the server was amazing at asking us just the right questions and provided information on each of the options we were contemplating so we could make an informed choice. We shared the special of the month as titled above....it didn't disappoint and the portion was huge so sharing it was ideal! The spicy aioli with the combination of coleslaw on the poutine was perfect! It was topped with several pieces of breaded calamari that was cooked perfectly and was clearly of high quality! I told the owner I hope to be able to have it again before the special is over and was over-joyed to hear it will be a regular menu item...

La Poutine was amazing! The owner was so personable and had excellent recommendations! We leaned that original poutine is made with a thinner sauce, that really helps bring out the flavor, and boy was she right! This was some of the best poutine I've ever had! The escargot Poutine was absolutely delicious! The sauce, cheese, garlic, and escargot really complemented one another for an amazing dish! We will recommend this place to anyone who comes to thunder bay! We hope we get to come back one day!!

The poutine here is fantastic, reminiscent of the one at La Banquise in Montreal. There are plenty of unique flavors to choose from. I'm giving it 4 stars because you can only choose the size for the classic poutine and I prefer a smaller portion due to my love for poutine but limited ability to eat a lot of fries. If they offered smaller sizes for all the flavors, it would definitely be a 5/5 rating! The food is excellent and the service is too.

The Buffalo blue chicken Pierogi poutine is absolutely amazing, but you don't have to take my word for it - come and try it for yourself! With a vast menu full of delicious choices, you'll have a tough time deciding what to order. This charming little restaurant is sure to become your go-to spot for dining downtown. Hands down the best poutine place in town serving the authenticity and specialty of Quebec. Wait times are about 15mins for pickup and outdoor seating is provided as well. The menu has a lot of variety but the only issue is the price which is on the higher side. If you can justify the price then go for it.

I have some favorite poutines from Quebec and Ontario, and now La Poutine is one of my favorites! The fries are crisps, the gravy just salty enough and the cheese squeeks perfectly. Highly recommend this place as the staff is friendly and their poutine is exactly the way it should be!

Hands down the best poutine in Thunder Bay! We're visiting from Toronto and this place was a definite treat! Had the Montreal smoked meat and veggies poutine and they both were divine. Not to mention the staff were super friendly. We'll surely be back everytime we're in town!

AMAZING! The owner (I assume) Bridget and her super friendly staff were fantastic. The food? Equally fantastic! This is a mandatory stop for anyone traveling through Thunder Bay regardless of if they’ve had poutine or not. I had the chicken sriracha ranch and it was killer! Reserva una mesa ahora

The food at this restaurant is extremely tasty, the staff are very welcoming, and they have a convenient walk-up takeout window! I ordered the Newfie Poutine, which consisted of stuffing, cheese curds, onions, and cheddar with vegetarian gravy.

Awsome Food. Great service and nice clean dining area in a great location. You get your moneys worth thats for sure. I highly recommend you try it out when your in ThunderBay.
