Firstly I don't post to Trip Advisor often but felt I have to, to save others from having the same experience as us last night! My wife, daughter and I booked a table for dinner based upon the good Trip Advisor position in comparison with other excellent places we have eaten at in Ste Maxime, sadly we wished we hadn't having wasted good money on average food! We opted for Menu 39 Euro which has a reasonable selection of dishes. Entrees arrived quickly from ordering and my octopus salad was not too bad but lacked any real flavour, the wife was really disappointed with her avocado and shrimp salad, which consisted of a sliced avocado and a selection of the smallest shrimps you can get, a pot o...
Arnaque faites attention à votre addition !!! J'ai commandé un diabolo fraise à 4,5€ avec une limonade déjà servi au bar sans BULLES. Salade césar facturé 22€ au lieu de 21€. Nous avons pris 2 plats du jours à 15 € sauf qu'au moment de payé les plats nous sont facturés 22€, nous allons gentiment voir la patronne pour lui dire, et elle nous réponds que fallait lui préciser au moment de la commande qu'on voulait le plat du jour et non le plat dans la carte (sacahnt qu'on avait même pas ouvert la carte! , et que dans ces cas là nous aurions eu moins en quantités!!! Déjà que c'était léger j'ose imaginer ce que nous aurions eu... Elle n'a rien voulu savoir!!! Patronne pas commerciale et pas agréa...
This restaurant is in prime position in Saint Maxime and has been run by some formidable ladies for years.There is a good choice on the menu a la carte and also two menus 27 and 35€ if my memory serves me well....the first time we went the food was delicious.. well cooked And no problems...the second time it was nowhere near as good , the fish was really dry and the waitress was just not interested in the fact that it wasn't good....Gallic shrugging took place...However , it is very popular and you will need to book at the weekend..or probably during the week in August.Hopefully it was just an off day...I will return.
Very nice and friendly service. Nice welcome, very good advice.Food, especially fish is incredibly tasty and well cocked. This restaurant propose high quality products, cocked in a proper manner and served like in a top restaurant.The wine list is not limited to local rough wine and proposes top burgandi or bordeaux wine as well.La Reserve is one of the best or maybe the best restaurant in sainte maxime.If you want to have a nice dinner with Fish, la reserve is the best solution.

Très déçu de la qualité du repas et du prix facturé !!!! 4€ de plus pour la sauce l’entrecôte Angus déjà a 34€ très moyenne …. Sans nous l’annoncer à la prise de commande, assiette très Light en légume pour les poissons, un restaurant de la cote d’azure à éviter !
We had a lovely meal, on one of their outside tables. Friendly service, really good food. The Bouillabaisse is huge (enough for 2!) and not too expensive. The lunch menu is good value. Tip: it's popular with locals, so book to get an outside table.
Bustling, popular restaurant with views over the marina. The food was sublime - soupe de poisson, tournedos and chocolate mousse, all of the highest order. Knowledgeable, hard working waiting staff. Worth travelling many miles to enjoy.
Nice, popular restaurant in Sainte-Maxime. Good for casual evening dining. Loved the stuffed muscles. They also have reasonable offers for a 3 course menu.
