La Rosa Chicken Grill Berkeley Heights

I must have walked by this restaurant countless times without even noticing it. I've also overlooked it on Door Dash many times. However, one evening, I decided to try it out because of the positive reviews, and now I'm absolutely hooked! The owner or manager—I'm not quite sure which— is a friendly Italian gentleman who made me feel very welcome. I ended up ordering from them two nights in a row, and they actually remembered me! I usually go for the crispy chicken wrap, which is not only delicious but also quite filling. Plus, the mashed potatoes are fantastic!

Always loved the food here and our go to place every Sunday, but now they got rid of the fried chicken. Unfortunately they have now lost our business. The roasted chicken and ribs are good, but it was our go to for home style fried chicken. Veryunfortunate, now we have to find a new place for Sunday dinner. ????

The manager offered me complimentary cornbread, gave me a fist bump, and expressed gratitude for my visit when I requested it after placing my order and making my payment. The food was excellent, and the restaurant was very clean. Food rating: 5/5.

I absolutely adore the staff! They are incredibly kind and welcoming. While the food is just okay, the excellent service and freshness of the dishes really make up for it!

Great meal, got the quarter chicken with two sides (broccoli and fries). Broccoli and chicken were excellent, glad I went Reserva una mesa ahora

Best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had. The side were very good also. Highly recommended.
